Transbaikal Region launches its first dietary supplement production facility
The Transbaikal Region is set to launch its first-ever dietary supplement production facility. A new resident of the Transbaikal Advanced Development Territory (ADT) will lead the project, marking a significant step for local manufacturing. The initiative has already secured backing from regional funding programmes.
The facility will produce a range of supplements, including collagen with vitamins and L-carnitine. By 2026, these products are expected to reach federal retail chains and pharmacies across Russia. The project will also create 20 new jobs in the region.
Financial support for the venture comes from the Transbaikal Industrial Development Fund. The fund operates nine preferential loan programmes under its 'Food Industry' initiative, designed to boost local manufacturers. This marks the first time dietary supplements will be manufactured within the Transbaikal Region. The company behind the project has not yet been publicly named. Official announcements and local news sources are expected to provide further details as the facility nears completion.
The new production line will introduce locally made supplements to national markets. With 20 jobs confirmed and distribution plans in place, the facility aims to strengthen the region’s industrial sector. Regional authorities continue to promote economic growth through targeted funding programmes.
