TUF Barbershop Celebrates 11 Years with Inaugural Community Run in Cebu

TUF Barbershop is marking its 11th anniversary with a community fitness event. The brand, founded by Stuart Wayne Violanda, RJ/Reece Quiambao, J Lanete III, and Ken Cuizon, will host its first-ever anniversary run on September 12, 2026. The race takes place at Mandani Bay in Mandaue City, a day before the company’s actual founding date. The business began as a single barbershop in 2015. It has since expanded to 39 branches across Cebu and the Visayas-Mindanao region. Plans for growth into Metro Manila are already underway. Along the way, TUF Barbershop earned recognition as the Best Barbershop in Cebu and claimed the Best of Cebu Grand Slam award.

The anniversary run offers four distances: 1.1K, 3K, 5K, and 11K. This variety ensures options for both experienced runners and families. Registration opens on July 1, 2026, at 1:11 PM.

Each participant receives an official shirt, finisher’s medal, race bib, post-race meal, and a raffle stub. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category. The event will also include side activities, entertainment, and special surprises for runners and spectators. The run celebrates TUF Barbershop’s growth from a single shop to a regional brand. It also introduces a new tradition of community engagement through fitness. The event promises a day of competition, rewards, and celebration for all involved.
