Design Infinity has achieved a major safety milestone on the Maudsley Health Project. The company completed one million consecutive man-hours without a single lost time incident. The success was marked at midday on 5 May 2026. The Maudsley Health Project involves a 220,000 sq. ft. interior fit-out across six floors. Geetha Nayak, a managing partner at Design Infinity, called it one of the firm’s most significant healthcare projects to date.
Imran Khan, the senior project manager, pointed to the project’s demanding scope and the company’s safety-first culture as key factors. Pratap Mendonca, another managing partner, credited every worker for their commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
The firm’s health and safety approach includes daily toolbox talks, regular audits, near-miss reporting, and a behavioural safety programme. Akhil Sundar, the HSE manager, stressed the team’s shared responsibility and understanding of their role in achieving the milestone. Design Infinity has pledged to maintain and improve its safety record for the rest of the project. The company also thanked the client team, project managers, subcontractors, and all on-site staff for their professionalism and dedication to safety.
