NESTLÉ Philippines revives Wellness Campus to boost student health nationwide

NESTLÉ Philippines has relaunched its Wellness Campus program, a health and nutrition initiative for public school students. The scheme began on June 8, 2026, and will run until April 30, 2027. It targets pupils aged 7 to 17 across nine regions in the Philippines. The program is a joint effort between NESTLÉ Philippines and the Department of Education (DepEd). White Charcoal Management Inc. handles its day-to-day implementation. It features three core parts: nutrition education, the Nestlé Wellness Campus Dancercise program, and a series of contests and recognition events.

Students can join competitions like the Best Implementing School, Hataw Sayaw Year 4 dance contest, Sarap Sustansya cook-off, and Wellness Dance Masters. These run at inter-school, inter-division, and inter-regional levels. Winners receive cash prizes.

DepEd Davao regional director Allan Farnazo stated that the program boosts student learning by focusing on nutrition and health. The initiative aims to foster long-term healthy habits among participants. The Wellness Campus program covers Grades 1 to 10 in selected areas. It combines education, physical activity, and competitive events to promote well-being. The partnership with DepEd ensures its integration into the school system.
