Free First Aid Training Day Unites Arnsberg and Sundern Volunteers

Arnsberg and Sundern are joining forces to host a free first aid training day on Saturday, 4 July 2023. The Zonta Club Arnsberg is supporting the event, which targets volunteers for the 'Die Schaukel' project. The workshop will run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Bürgerbahnhof Arnsberg. The training is designed for volunteers involved in 'Die Schaukel', a local support programme for families needing daily assistance. Launched in early 2005 by the Zonta Club Arnsberg, the project has backing from representatives in both Arnsberg and Sundern.

The session will cover traditional first aid with a special focus on paediatric emergencies. Practical, hands-on learning is at the heart of the programme. Volunteers can sign up now with project coordinators to secure a place and learn more about the initiative.

All participants will receive an official certificate meeting DGUV standards. This certification is valid for accident insurance purposes. The workshop offers essential skills for volunteers supporting local families. It provides recognised certification and strengthens community preparedness.
