DEBRA Piel de Mariposa is hosting its 5th annual Solidarity Event in Marbella on Saturday, May 16. The charity supports children and families affected by Epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic condition causing fragile skin. All funds raised will go directly to those in need across Spain. The event begins at 10am at Plaza Supera Miraflores with a BodyCombat session. At 10:45am, Marbella Local Police will showcase their Canine unit. Participants can then choose between Zumba or Spinning at 11:15am.
An XtremFit session will close the event at 12pm. Each activity costs €5, with all proceeds benefiting families living with Epidermolysis bullosa. Marbella’s Town Hall and Supera fitness centres are supporting the initiative. The event is open to everyone and aims to raise awareness and funds for a currently incurable condition. DEBRA regularly organises similar fundraisers in Marbella and supports over 300 families nationwide. All donations will help those affected by the rare skin disorder.
