Kalininsky Hospital Unveils Upgraded Therapy Unit for 40,000 Residents
Kalininsky District Hospital has completed a major overhaul of its therapy unit. The work was part of the state’s 'Healthcare Development' programme. The upgrade included a full replacement of utility systems and interior finishes. The therapy unit’s layout has been redesigned to create better conditions for patients. A new lounge area was also added for staff comfort.
A mentorship system is now in place to help new employees adapt. Experienced specialists will guide them through workflows and hospital standards. This follows plans to expand the team, with three new recruits joining in 2026 and 14 more in 2027.
The upgraded department will serve over 40,000 local residents. Meanwhile, similar repairs are scheduled for 15 other medical facilities in the region before the end of the year. The renovated therapy unit is now operational. It will improve care for thousands of patients in the municipality. Further upgrades across the region are set to continue under the state programme.
