The overall average for adults is 1.73 metres in height and 78.3 kilograms in weight. The tallest age group are young adults aged 18 to 24, with an average height of 1.75 metres. In contrast, the shortest are those aged 75 and older, averaging 1.68 metres.

When it comes to weight, young adults aged 18 to 24 are the lightest, at 72.5 kilograms on average. The heaviest group are adults aged 50 to 59, with an average weight of 81.3 kilograms.

The data also shows that 53.4% of German adults are overweight, with a BMI over 25. Obesity, defined as a BMI over 30, affects 17.9% of the adult population. These figures highlight variations in height and weight across different age groups in Germany. They also underscore the prevalence of overweight and obesity among adults in the country.
