A violent incident occurred on Tuesday evening at Offenbach’s Starkenburgring. A heavily intoxicated man allegedly attacked emergency personnel and damaged an ambulance during a rescue operation. The 47-year-old man was being taken to hospital for treatment when he started throwing objects inside the vehicle. He also lashed out violently with his feet, striking a 46-year-old paramedic. The paramedic sustained minor injuries as a result.

The man’s actions caused around €3,000 in damage to the ambulance’s interior. Police quickly intervened, taking him into custody. He was then transferred to a specialised medical facility for further assessment.
