Nizhny Novgorod offers free health checks for fitness lovers at 15 centers

Free medical examinations for fitness enthusiasts are now available at Nizhny Novgorod’s Health Centers. The service is open to all residents, including those without a prior registration at the clinics. Examinations are provided at no cost for holders of compulsory health insurance policies. The initiative covers 15 adult Health Centers across the Nizhny Novgorod region. Two of these are located within Polyclinics No. 4 and No. 30 in the city. Licensed physicians conduct the assessments using high-precision stationary equipment.

The examinations include bioelectrical impedance analysis, which offers a detailed body composition assessment. The aim is to detect hidden health risks and help prevent injuries or overexertion. Appointments can be booked online through the Nizhny Novgorod Region Patient Portal.

From September 1, MRI scans without a referral will only be accessible at private clinics. This change does not affect the new free examination service. The programme provides accessible health diagnostics for the local community. It supports early detection of health issues related to physical activity. Residents with compulsory health insurance can use the service without charge.
