A large-scale health screening programme in Primorsky Krai has identified thousands of residents with undiagnosed medical conditions. Between January and April, over 286,000 people underwent preventive medical examinations and comprehensive check-ups. The results have already led to further testing for many participants. In total, 286,106 residents completed the screenings. Of these, 49,769 had routine preventive checks, while 236,337 underwent full medical examinations. The programme also included 62,299 reproductive health assessments, which revealed risk factors in 7,885 men and 9,695 women.

The screenings uncovered 54 previously undiagnosed malignant tumours. Additionally, 4,891 cases of circulatory system disorders were detected, along with 575 cases of diabetes and 476 respiratory diseases. A total of 306 men and 4,406 women were diagnosed with conditions requiring further treatment.

One in three examined residents needed a second-stage assessment. As a result, 84,901 people were referred for additional testing after initial evaluations. The findings highlight the importance of widespread health screenings in early disease detection. Nearly 85,000 residents were flagged for further examination due to abnormalities found during the check-ups. The programme continues to play a key role in identifying health risks in the region.
