Pili Hunters Stuns Shark Tank With Rare, Nutrient-Packed Superfood Snack

A small snack business called Pili Hunters has made waves after appearing on Shark Tank. The company sells nutrient-packed pili nuts, a rare treat grown in volcanic soil across Southeast Asia, northern Australia, and Papua New Guinea. Owner Jason Thomas pitched his brand to the Sharks, seeking funds to expand his growing enterprise. Pili Hunters specialises in pili nuts, a snack packed with protein, healthy fats, and essential minerals. A single cup provides around 13 grams of protein along with calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. The nuts are also keto-friendly, paleo-approved, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan, making them a convenient option for health-conscious consumers.

Thomas entered the competitive snack market with little direct competition. By 2021, the business had already reached $4 million in annual revenue. On *Shark Tank*, he asked for a $325,000 investment in exchange for 10% of the company. The Sharks raised concerns about the brand’s focus, questioning whether it was spreading itself too thin while still developing its core product. Despite this, Robert Herjavec called pili nuts the best he had ever tasted. The nuts’ rich flavour and nutritional benefits position them as an ideal snack for people with busy lifestyles who struggle to maintain a balanced diet.

Pili Hunters continues to grow, offering a unique snack with broad dietary appeal. The company’s appearance on Shark Tank brought attention to its flagship product, which stands out for its taste and health benefits. With strong revenue and a niche market, the brand aims to expand further in the snack industry.
