Tottenham Entrepreneur Lands £100K Deal on Dragons' Den for Sea Moss Brand
Rome Haghighat, founder of a sea moss wellness brand, secured three investors on Dragons' Den after pitching his business. The entrepreneur from Tottenham asked for £100,000 in exchange for 10% of his company. His products, including gels, capsules, and soaps, target health-conscious consumers looking for natural supplements.
Haghighat grew up in tough circumstances in North London before launching his brand in 2024. His company specialises in sea moss-based products designed for beauty, detox, and fitness. The market for such supplements has surged by around 35% over the past two years, with brands like Atlantic Naturals and Seamosh expanding through online sales and partnerships with retailers like Holland & Barrett.
During his pitch, Bartlett and Jones highlighted Haghighat's resilience and strong business growth. Guest judge Tinie Tempah joined them in making an offer. Each proposed £33,333 for a 10% stake, totalling £100,000 for 30% equity. Haghighat accepted the combined deal from all three investors.
The investment will help Haghighat expand his meta business in a fast-growing wellness sector. His products now have the backing of three experienced entrepreneurs. The deal also reflects rising consumer demand for natural health insurance in the UK.
