Wolfsburg Hospital Welcomes Expectant Parents for World Birth Week Event

Wolfsburg Hospital is hosting a special event for expectant parents as part of World Birth Week. The gathering will offer advice, tours, and informal chats over refreshments on May 19. The event runs in two sessions, at 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, with each lasting two hours. Numbers are limited to 30 people per session, and registration is open via the hospital’s event calendar.

In the main foyer, informational booths will cover a range of services. Representatives from Wolfsburg’s newborn home-visit service, the human milk bank, and the intercultural fathers’ office will be available. Other stalls include the Early Support Network, pregnancy counselling, breastfeeding consultants, and local family centres.

Midwives, doctors, and the hospital’s parenting education team will also attend to answer questions. Expectant parents can chat one-on-one over coffee, tea, and cake about pregnancy, childbirth, and caring for a newborn. At the end of the event, guided tours of the delivery rooms, paediatric clinic, and postnatal ward will take place. The sessions provide a chance for parents-to-be to gather information and ask experts in a relaxed setting. Tours of key hospital areas will wrap up the afternoon, giving attendees a closer look at the facilities.
