Beyond brain and heart benefits, omega-3s may reduce inflammation and improve blood sugar control. They also aid the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, such as A, D, E, and K. Without adequate intake, deficiencies can lead to dry eyes, joint pain, or skin irritation.
