Vladivostok hosted a patriotic fitness campaign on Victory Day to honour those who fought in the Great Patriotic War. Called Victory Record, the event brought together adults and children at Sukhanov Square for a day of collective exercise. Participants gathered in groups of 18, taking turns on the exercise platform. The programme included sit-ups, push-ups, and kettlebell lifts, with each person free to choose their own pace and rest when needed.

The goal was ambitious: complete 29,585 repetitions—one for every day since May 9, 1945. By the end of the event, the combined effort of all attendees reached the target, marking a symbolic tribute to the wartime generation.

The campaign blended physical activity with remembrance, offering a way for locals to connect with history. Organisers confirmed the final count matched the intended total, ensuring the event’s message of endurance and respect was fulfilled.
