Lecture on Nutritional Needs in Later Life
Solingen Library Hosts Free Nutrition Talk for Seniors This Month
Solingen – On Thursday, April 23, at 3:00 PM, Solingen City Library invites the public to an informative lecture on "Healthy Eating from 60+". The event is part of the popular "Library+" series and is organized in cooperation with Bergische Adult Education Center and the Senior Citizens' Office.
Changing Nutritional Needs with Age
As we grow older, our bodies' requirements shift noticeably: while energy needs decrease, the demand for essential vitamins and minerals rises. Balanced nutrition therefore becomes increasingly important—yet should always remain tailored to individual tastes and lifestyle habits.
Practical Tips for Everyday Well-Being
The lecture provides a clear, hands-on overview of the fundamentals of healthy eating in later life, with a special focus on how to incorporate nutrient-rich meals into daily routines—easily and without extra effort. Attendees will learn how wholesome nutrition not only benefits physical health but can also enhance enjoyment and quality of life.
Free Admission in the Light Space
The event will take place in the Light Space at Solingen City Library, Mummstraße 10. Admission is free.
