Sochi's 180 beaches pass rigorous safety checks for summer swimmers

Sochi has prepared nearly 180 beaches for the upcoming swimming season. Authorities carried out extensive checks to ensure safe conditions for visitors and residents alike. Before the season began, Rospotrebnadzor experts analysed over 1,000 seawater samples. They tested for various indicators to confirm water safety. Every sample met the required hygienic standards.

Divers also inspected the seabed in all designated swimming zones. Their work ensured no hidden hazards could affect swimmers. The combined efforts covered Sochi’s main beaches, leaving no area unchecked. The results confirm that all monitored beaches are ready for public use.
