A woman from Kamyshlov has welcomed her 12th child at a regional perinatal centre. Both mother and baby are reported to be in good health after the birth. The newborn boy, named Kostey, is the smallest of Lilia's children so far. Lilia, the mother, gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 2,400 grams and measuring 49 centimetres. The name Kostey was chosen by her eldest son, adding to the family's eight boys and four girls. Her eldest daughter is now 24 years old.

The regional Ministry of Health is expanding its network of perinatal centres. These efforts aim to improve medical support for pregnant women, ensuring better care for cases like Lilia's. Historically, Kamyshlov was linked to Valentina Vassilyeva, who allegedly gave birth to 69 children in the 18th century. However, no modern medical or societal measures in the region are documented for supporting such extreme cases, as the record remains unverified.

The family now has a total of 12 children, with Kostey being the youngest. The regional health authorities continue to enhance perinatal services to assist mothers and newborns. Lilia and her baby are recovering well after the successful delivery.
