Rhön Region Hosts Week-Long Mobile Blood Donation Drives in June 2026

The Institute for Transfusion Medicine Suhl (ITMS) will hold a series of mobile blood donation drives in the Rhön region during week 23 of 2026. Teams from the organisation will visit multiple locations, offering residents the chance to donate blood at convenient times and venues. The week of donations begins on Monday, June 1, at Oechsen Primary School. The session will run from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

The following day, Tuesday, June 2, the team moves to Merkers Sports Hall. Donors can attend between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On Thursday, June 4, the drive continues at Bettenhausen Cultural Center. This session will last from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The final day, Friday, June 5, features two stops. The first takes place at Oepfershausen’s Schloss Municipal Administration from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Later that evening, the team will be at Stadtlengsfeld’s Feldatal Hall, open from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. ITMS regularly operates up to eight mobile donation drives each day, ensuring widespread access to blood collection services.

The Rhön region’s donation week offers multiple opportunities for residents to contribute. Each location provides set hours, making it easier for people to participate. The collected blood will support medical treatments across the area.
