A clinic in Nizhny Novgorod has donated a portable X-ray machine to frontline troops. The equipment, designed for field hospitals, will help medics treat gunshot and shrapnel wounds in combat zones. The initiative was backed by the 'Everything for Victory!' fundraising campaign.

Yury Kovalenchik, who leads a major network of medical clinics in Nizhny Novgorod, organised the donation. His decision was driven by personal ties—his father served as a veteran of the Soviet-Afghan War. This family connection inspired him to support soldiers involved in the special military operation.

The X-ray machine is lightweight and built for rough conditions. It runs on standard 220-volt power and can be easily moved between locations. Medics in the field will use it alongside a digitizer and cassettes to display diagnostic results instantly. The People’s Front will oversee the delivery of the equipment to military medics. Once in place, it will provide critical support for treating injuries directly in the combat zone.

The donated X-ray machine will improve medical care for wounded soldiers on the front lines. Its portability and quick setup allow for faster diagnosis of severe injuries. The 'Everything for Victory!' campaign continues to gather support for similar initiatives.
