Pervouralsk's new trauma center opens with upgraded emergency care

A newly renovated trauma center has opened in Pervouralsk, offering improved emergency care for injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. The project involved both regional funding and support from local businesses, ensuring modern facilities for residents across the city. The trauma center's renovation was made possible through a joint effort between the Sverdlovsk Oblast government and private companies. Regional budget funds covered the cost of medical equipment and furniture, while business contributions financed the interior upgrades. The exterior work, funded by 38 million rubles, is set to finish by the end of summer.

Tatyana Savinova, Deputy Governor and Health Minister, emphasised the center's central location, making it easily reachable from most parts of Pervouralsk. The facility now includes an X-ray room, treatment areas, a plaster room, consultation spaces, a staff lounge, and an accessible restroom. Igor Kovpak, a local official, backed the project, expressing hope for better medical care for patients. Denis Pasler, another regional leader, noted that socially responsible businesses play a key role in developing Ural cities. This collaboration has already delivered several successful projects in Pervouralsk.

The trauma center now provides essential emergency services with upgraded equipment and facilities. Its central position and modern setup aim to improve care for injuries and musculoskeletal issues. The project serves as another example of public-private partnerships strengthening local infrastructure.
