Two off-duty National Police officers in Alicante have saved the life of a three-year-old boy named Lucas. The child was found unresponsive and struggling to breathe after his airway became blocked. Quick action by the officers revived him within minutes.

The incident began when the officers spotted a mother holding her limp child. Lucas had blue-tinged lips, was unresponsive, and could barely breathe. His swollen tongue was blocking his airway.

The officers immediately stepped in and performed emergency maneuvers to clear the obstruction. Within moments, they successfully revived the boy. An ambulance then rushed Lucas to San Juan University Hospital in Alicante for further medical checks.

Lucas is now receiving care at the general hospital. The officers' rapid response prevented a tragedy. Doctors will monitor his condition to ensure a full recovery.
