Doctors and paramedics provide patients with not only medical but also psychological support, while ambulance drivers ensure rapid transport to healthcare facilities.
The Nizhny Novgorod Region operates 52 emergency medical service divisions, with 260 crews available around the clock to respond to calls. According to the regional head, service personnel successfully managed the increased workload during the coronavirus pandemic and continue to operate amid seasonal surges in illness.
Gleb Nikitin emphasized that creating dignified and comfortable working conditions for emergency medical teams remains a key priority for the regional government. In recent years, the region has significantly renewed its ambulance fleet.
The governor expressed gratitude to doctors, paramedics, nurses, drivers, and dispatchers for their work and wished them good health and professional success.
