Mystery surrounds man's death after body found in Barishal's Korai River

Mystery surrounds man's death after body found in Barishal's Korai River

The body of a 60-year-old man was pulled from the Korai River in Barishal Sadar on Saturday morning. Sabuj Hawladar had been missing since Friday afternoon after leaving his home in Dakshin Durgapur village. Local authorities are now investigating the circumstances of his death. Sabuj Hawladar, son of the late Abdul Aziz Hawladar, lived in Chandpura Union. He was last seen on Friday before disappearing without a trace. His body was discovered floating near Rajarchar at around 6:00am the following day.

No visible injuries were found during an initial examination. The remains were taken to Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital for a full autopsy. Once the procedure is complete, the body will be released to his family.

Official records show no recent reports of missing persons in Barishal Sadar over the past year. The autopsy will determine the exact cause of Sabuj Hawladar's death. His family will receive the body once the examination is finished. Authorities continue to gather details about the incident.
