A Staffordshire mother gave birth to twins in the front seat of her partner’s BMW while rushing to hospital. Chloe Weston had planned a C-section, but her babies arrived unexpectedly on the journey. The twins, Koah and Kyro, are now five months old and doing well. Chloe Weston’s waters broke a week before her scheduled C-section. The twins had been in breech and transverse positions at an appointment on 14 November last year. Despite this, she had arranged a planned delivery for the following week.

On the way to Queen’s Hospital Burton, the babies arrived suddenly. Weston gave birth to both boys in the car, just a minute apart. Koah weighed 6lb 4oz, while Kyro was slightly lighter at 5lb 2oz. After the birth, a stranger provided blankets to keep the newborns warm. The family then continued to the hospital for medical checks. Weston later said she found the experience of giving birth in the car easier than being in a hospital setting.

The twins are now five months old and thriving. Their unexpected arrival in the car became a memorable moment for the family. The boys remain healthy, and Weston has reflected on the unusual circumstances of their birth.
