The fitness training job market in Krasnodar Krai has seen notable shifts in early 2026. While demand for trainers has slightly dropped, salaries have risen, and competition for roles remains fierce. Most opportunities are clustered in the region’s largest cities, with employers prioritising specific skills and qualifications. In the first quarter of 2026, over 300 job vacancies for fitness trainers were advertised across Krasnodar Krai. This figure marks a 12% decline compared to the same period in 2025. The majority of openings were concentrated in Krasnodar, Sochi, and Novorossiysk, reflecting the urban focus of the industry.

Despite fewer vacancies, interest in these roles stayed high. A total of 4,500 resumes were submitted, resulting in an average of 13.2 applicants per position. More than half of these candidates—56%—held a higher education degree, indicating a qualified talent pool. Salaries for fitness trainers have also seen an upward trend. The median pay reached 70,000 rubles, an 8% increase from 2025. Entry-level offers started at 37,000 rubles, while top-tier earnings jumped by 21%, peaking at 150,000 rubles. The most sought-after skills included personal and group training, strength programs, Pilates, boxing, and martial arts. Beyond technical abilities, employers emphasised soft skills. Teamwork, communication, customer focus, and clear speech were frequently listed as key requirements. Hiring activity also shifted, with March and April emerging as the busiest months for recruitment in 2026.

Meanwhile, the region’s focus on specialised skills and urban job centres continues to shape employment trends.
