Good Monk secures $2M to revolutionize nutrition for Indian families
Bengaluru-based nutrition startup Good Monk has raised $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The investment was led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with support from existing backers. Founded in 2022, the company has quickly grown after gaining national attention on Shark Tank India.
Good Monk was established by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur. The startup specialises in clinically validated nutrition mixes, including multivitamins, probiotics, and fibre supplements. Its products target children, adults, and seniors, focusing on ease of use and scientific backing.
The fresh funding will go towards research and development, aiming to drive product innovation. Anand stated that the company's mission is to help Indian families manage their health without sacrificing taste or convenience. Good Monk has also seen an 11-fold growth in the past year, following its appearance on Shark Tank India.
The startup sells its products through its own website and major e-commerce platforms. It also directs part of its revenue to community-focused initiatives. RPSG Capital Ventures, the lead investor, has previously backed other health and wellness brands in India, such as Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.
With $2 million in new funding, Good Monk plans to expand its product line and research efforts. The company continues to build on its rapid growth, offering nutrition solutions across different age groups. Its focus remains on accessibility, scientific validation, and community support.
