A seven-year-old girl in Vladivostok has had her knocked-out tooth successfully replanted after a bicycle accident. The complex procedure took place at Primorsky Regional Dental Clinic, where doctors worked quickly to restore her smile. The case highlights the skill of local medical teams in handling urgent dental trauma. The incident occurred when the child fell from her bicycle, resulting in a complete tooth avulsion. Within 30 minutes, she arrived at the pediatric department of Primorsky Regional Dental Clinic, clutching the dislodged tooth. The medical team—an oral surgeon, a pediatric dentist, and an orthodontist—immediately began treatment.

The procedure involved several critical steps. First, the wound was cleaned and prepared. Then, endodontic therapy was performed to treat the tooth’s root. After that, the tooth was carefully repositioned in its socket and securely stabilised to ensure proper healing. This successful replantation follows another recent medical achievement in the region. Earlier, surgeons at Primorsky Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 carried out a complex laparoscopic operation on a teenager suffering from a multiloculated splenic cyst.

The girl’s tooth was saved thanks to rapid intervention and a coordinated effort by specialists. The procedure demonstrates how timely treatment can prevent long-term dental complications. The clinic’s team continues to provide advanced care for children in urgent medical situations.
