RTL presenter Frauke Ludowig has been spotted wearing a decorative eye patch following recent eye surgery. The 62-year-old underwent a procedure last Monday to replace a damaged lens in her right eye. Despite the recovery, she has already returned to work, conducting an interview with singer Gil Ofarim just days later.

Ludowig's surgery took place on Monday, when doctors implanted a new lens in her right eye. The old lens had deteriorated beyond repair, requiring the procedure. Since then, she has been managing headaches as part of the healing process.

Her eye patch, embellished with small Swarovski crystals, has drawn attention. Doctors have advised her to avoid makeup for several days to let the eye rest properly. To aid recovery, she is working from home for two weeks.

Despite the short recovery period, Ludowig quickly resumed professional duties. She interviewed Gil Ofarim, 43, shortly after the operation. The conversation will be broadcast this Sunday, February 15, at 5:45 p.m. on RTL's Exclusiv – Weekend.

Ludowig's surgery and swift return to work highlight her commitment to her role. The interview with Ofarim will air as scheduled, while she continues recovering at home. Her eye patch, though temporary, has become a noticeable part of her recent appearances.
