Dangerous Supplements Recalled Over Hidden, Toxic Ingredients Nationwide
A nationwide recall has been issued for the Modern Warrior Ready dietary supplement after tests revealed undeclared ingredients. The product, marketed as Body Repair Plan, was sold in black plastic bottles with black and gold shrink wrap between April 2022 and December 8, 2025. Authorities warn that some of its hidden components pose serious health risks.
In a separate case, Slinmy Herbal Tea Drink Original was also recalled in January 2026 due to the presence of a banned carcinogenic substance.
The Modern Warrior Ready supplement, labelled READY followed by Mental Clarity, contained three undeclared compounds: tianeptine, 1,4-DMAA, and aniracetam. Tianeptine has been linked to life-threatening reactions, particularly in children, adolescents, and adults under 25. Overdose symptoms include confusion, seizures, drowsiness, dry mouth, and breathing difficulties.
The stimulant 1,4-DMAA can elevate blood pressure and trigger severe cardiovascular problems, such as heart attacks, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Consumers have been urged to stop using the product immediately. Meanwhile, Slinmy Herbal Tea Drink Original was pulled from shelves in January 2026 after regulators detected danthron, a substance classified as genotoxic and carcinogenic. The chemical is strictly prohibited in food products due to its potential to cause long-term harm.
The recall of Modern Warrior Ready covers all units sold between April 2022 and December 8, 2025, including online purchases. The Slinmy Herbal Tea Drink Original recall remains in effect following its January 2026 announcement. Both products should be disposed of or returned to prevent health risks.
