Coop recalls six food products over possible metal contamination risk

Coop has recalled multiple food items due to possible metal contamination. The affected products contain parsley and were sold exclusively on January 28, 2026. Customers have been warned not to consume them as they may pose a health risk.

The recall covers six products: Betty Bossi chopped parsley (20g), Freshly Made Protein Salad (325g), Betty Bossi Protein Salad (325g), Butterfly garlic shrimp (pre-packaged), Garlic shrimp with tails (pre-packaged), and Sunday roast (pre-packaged). All were available for purchase only on January 28, 2026.

These items were sold across Coop's retail network, including Coop supermarkets, Coop to go, Coop City department stores, Coop Pronto convenience stores, and Jumbo outlets. The company has not confirmed where the products were stored or removed from sale before being offered in these locations.

Coop has advised customers who bought any of the listed products to avoid eating them. The recall applies only to items purchased on the specified date. Further updates are expected if additional risks are identified.
