Over the past four years, average wages for doctors and nurses at Arzamas Central City Hospital have risen by 40%. Meanwhile, salaries for junior medical staff have increased by 63%.
The hospital has also expanded its workforce—last year alone, 28 doctors and 66 nurses were hired. Additionally, the number of surgeries performed grew by 36%, with over 10,000 procedures carried out, including 755 high-tech stenting operations and 49 thromboextractions.
The hospital has acquired new medical equipment, such as a digital mammography unit, electrosurgical knives, intravascular ultrasound systems, and rotational endarterectomy devices. This year, priorities include staffing polyclinics with ENT specialists and urologists, as well as completing a major renovation of Treatment Building No. 3, according to Chief Physician Oleg Kurakhtanov.
