The Krefeld Red Cross Family Education Center is offering a new 'Prenatal Yoga' course starting on April 14. Designed for expectant mothers, the programme aims to build body awareness and ease the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy.

The course runs for 13 sessions, each held on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Red Cross district office on Uerdinger Straße 609, near Bockumer Platz. Participants will practise exercises tailored to release tension, strengthen muscles, and boost energy during pregnancy.

Beginners can join from the 13th week of pregnancy, while those with prior yoga experience may start at any stage. The Red Cross advises all attendees to check with their gynaecologist about any movement restrictions before taking part. Registration is open now, with a fee of €110.50. Interested mothers can sign up by emailing [email protected].

The course provides a structured way for pregnant women to stay active and manage stress. With sessions beginning in mid-April, organisers encourage early registration to secure a place. No details on participant numbers have been released.
