Kazakhstan has witnessed a steady increase in health awareness among its citizens. By the end of 2025, over a third of the population embraced healthier lifestyle principles. More people are now concentrating on disease prevention and maintaining an active lifestyle through structured programs.

Health schools have been instrumental in this shift. In 2025, there were 4,719 such schools operating in outpatient clinics, attracting over 1.66 million participants—a 1.5% increase from the previous year.

Additionally, 380 hospital-based health schools served another 253,352 people. These programs aim to educate individuals on how to maintain and enhance their well-being. However, no official figures exist for participation in 2024, making direct comparisons challenging.

The data indicates a growing trend in health-conscious behavior across Kazakhstan. By late 2025, 35.7% of the population adopted healthier habits. The expansion of health schools suggests these efforts will likely continue in the coming years.
