Dhaka University hosts free medical camp for arts faculty members

A two-day medical camp was recently held at Dhaka University's Faculty of Arts. The event took place in the Shaheed Mofazzal Haider Chowdhury conference room, offering free health check-ups to faculty members. Organisers worked with the Popular Diagnostic Centre to provide medical support during the camp.

The camp opened with free health check-ups for teachers from various departments under the Faculty of Arts. Several senior university officials attended, including vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan and pro-vice chancellor (administration) Professor Saima Haque Bidisha. Treasurer Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also visited the event.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan, was present alongside former dean Professor Sadrul Amin. Professor MA Kausar, the camp's coordinator, oversaw the proceedings. Faculty teachers actively participated in the health screenings throughout the day.

The medical camp provided essential health services to university staff. Officials from Dhaka University and the Popular Diagnostic Centre collaborated to ensure its success. The event highlighted ongoing efforts to support the well-being of faculty members.
